Who we are
RADD Fitness is operated by R.A.D.D. LLC (“RADD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a fitness business located at 74 Cedar Swamp Road, Glen Cove, New York. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website (raddfitness.com) and our member and coaching app, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. We wrote it in plain language on purpose.
What this policy covers
This policy covers the information we handle when you visit our website, fill out a form, book a class or consultation, become a member or personal-training client, or use the RADD app. It does not cover the separate privacy practices of the third-party services we rely on to run the business, each of which has its own policy. We name those services in “How we share your information” below.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and identity information: your name, email address, phone number, and how you heard about us or who referred you.
- Membership and scheduling information: your membership or training plan, class reservations and attendance, appointments, and any household or guardian contact you give us.
- Health and fitness information: your training goals, training history, movement assessment results, your coach’s notes, and any health information you choose to share, such as conditions, injuries, and medications. It also includes what you log in training: exercises, weights, sets, reps, reps left in reserve, benchmark scores, and any discomfort or pain you report. Sharing health information is voluntary; the more complete it is, the more safely we can program for you.
- Payment information: when you pay us, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and processes your card details directly. We do not receive or store your full card number. We keep a record of your plan, amounts, and payment status.
- Messages and files: messages you send through the app to your coach or in the gym chat, and any photos or files you attach to them.
- Waivers and agreements: the liability waiver and consents you sign, and the date you signed them.
Apple Health (optional)
If you choose to connect Apple Health, your phone sends us only the numbers you select: body weight, body fat and lean mass, daily steps, sleep hours, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, active calories, exercise minutes, and workouts you log outside the gym. Connecting is optional and is never a condition of membership. You control what is sent, and you can disconnect or delete this data at any time from your Account screen.
Information collected automatically
When you use the app or website, we and our hosting providers automatically receive basic technical information such as your device type, browser, and general usage of the app, which we use to keep the service running and secure. We use cookies and similar browser storage only for essential functions such as keeping you signed in and remembering your display preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not collect your device’s GPS location.
How we use your information
- Deliver coaching and programming, run classes, and track attendance and progress.
- Set up and manage your membership or training plan, and process payments and renewals.
- Communicate with you about your training, appointments, billing, and the gym, by email, push notification, and text message.
- Keep you safe: if you report high pain or discomfort, we will direct you to seek medical advice.
- Operate, secure, support, and improve the app and website.
- Meet our legal, tax, and insurance obligations.
Automated programming (AI)
Your goals, health information, and workout data are processed by a third-party artificial intelligence service to help generate your training programming, under that provider’s commercial terms. A RADD coach reviews and approves programming before you see it. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with any party other than the AI provider and the service providers named below that are necessary to deliver the service. The app provides fitness programming, not medical care, and nothing in it is a diagnosis or treatment.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we never share it with other members. Your health and training information is visible to you and to RADD coaching staff. We share information with the service providers we use to run the business, and only as needed for them to provide their service to us:
| Provider | What we use it for |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Secure database, sign-in, and hosting for the app’s data (United States). |
| Vercel | Hosting for the website and app (United States). |
| Stripe | Processing card payments. Stripe handles your card details directly; we do not store them. |
| Anthropic | The AI service that helps generate training programming from your goals, health, and workout data. |
| Brevo | Sending email, such as confirmations, reminders, and gym updates. |
| HybridAF | Door-access control. We sync active members’ name and contact so you can enter the gym. |
| Apple Health | Only if you connect it: your phone sends the health metrics you choose to share. |
| Web push | Delivering the app’s push notifications to your device, if you enable them. |
We may also share information when the law requires it, to enforce our agreements, to protect the safety and rights of our members, staff, or the public, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business. Each provider above maintains its own privacy and security practices under its agreement with us.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are handled under Stripe’s security standards; we do not receive or store your full card number. We keep a record of your plan, the amounts charged, and whether a payment succeeded or failed.
Health and fitness information
We treat your health and fitness information as sensitive. We collect it only with your consent, use it only for coaching, show it only to you and RADD coaching staff, and never sell it or share it outside the gym except with the service providers named above that are necessary to deliver the service. RADD is a fitness business, not a healthcare provider, and this information is not medical records. Sharing it is voluntary, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
Children and minors
Members under 18 train with us through a parent or guardian, who is our point of contact and who provides consent. Minors do not receive their own app login. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without parental or guardian involvement. If you believe a child’s information has been provided to us improperly, contact us and we will address it.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information while you are an active member or client and for as long as we need it to provide the service. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we remove your personal training and health information, and you can delete connected health data yourself at any time. We keep certain limited records longer where the law requires it or for legitimate business reasons, such as signed waivers and agreements, tax and payment records, and safety records. Anonymous or aggregated information that no longer identifies you may be kept.
Your rights and choices
You can, at any time:
- Access a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete your information, or withdraw your consent to our use of your health and training information. Withdrawing consent means we can no longer generate programming for you.
- Export a copy of your data.
- Manage communications: unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, turn off push notifications on your device, and tell us if you would prefer we not text you.
To make any of these requests, email us at info@raddcrossfitnsli.com. You can also disconnect Apple Health and delete all connected health data yourself from your Account screen. We may keep the limited records described above where the law allows or requires it.
How we protect your information
We protect your information with access controls that keep each member’s data private to them and to coaching staff, encrypted connections (HTTPS) for data in transit, and a payment setup where card numbers never touch our systems. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit who can see it.
Cookies and browser storage
We use cookies and similar browser storage only for essential functions: keeping you signed in and remembering preferences such as your theme and display settings. We do not use these for advertising or to track you across other websites.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know in the app or by email. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
